Serving as Nintendo's mascot and the main protagonist of the series, Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation in the year 1981. Since 1995, Mario has been voiced by Charles Martinet. Mario (マリオ, Mario ) is a fictional character in video game series, Super Mario, created by Japanese video game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto.
